A graduate of Princeton and Columbia Universities and a part-time Professor at Brooklyn College, I have been working as a private tutor for over 20 years. What I have learned from years of experience is that building self-confidence in each student is a crucial aspect of the educational math journey. I tailor my instruction to each student, working to understand the different ways in which they learn so that I can help them to succeed. I tutor Mathematics for grades K-12 as well as College-Level Statistics. I also do test prep, helping students prepare for standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, SHSAT, Math Regents Exams, and New York State Math Standardized Tests. I have extensive experience working with students with learning differences. My connection with students is strong and my connection with parents is also a part of the learning experience as I also build relationships with parents and caretakers and come up with strategies to ensure positive experiences and successful outcomes.
